Safe Haven of Iowa County

Fridea is a very friendly, declawed cat.  She has a hard time adjusting to changes such as major construction in the home or bringing a new dog into the family.   When these major changes are going on in her life, she has had a problem with not using her litter box.

Her family tried medications, but the only thing that seems to stop this behavior is isolation from the other pets.  Once she is removed from the rest of the pets and has her own space, she is having no issues with the litter box.  We need to find a new home for Freda where she can be the only cat, or maybe just one other cat.  She is a great cat, but she just needs the right calm home to make her happy and comfortable.
