Safe Haven of Iowa County

Buddy is a great young dog that was living with a family, but unfortunately they could no longer keep him.  The family said Buddy's parents were a black Lab and a Bulldog.  He came to Safe Haven already knowing a few tricks, and he loves everyone he meets.  While in his kennel we have witnessed his amazing jumping ability.....therefore we fear he may very well be able to jump/climb over a fence....likely even a 6 foot fence - so he should not be left alone in a fenced area.  He really just wants to be near his humans or find someone else to play with, so who can blame the cute young fella?     

Buddy is very excited when it is time for his walks, so much so that he has trouble sitting still long enough to leash him up - but all our volunteers are shocked to report what a gentelman he is on his walk - very well behaved and not pulling on the leash!  So obviously Buddy's family did spend some quality time with him and teach him manners - so we just hope that we can get him a new forever family soon! 

Buddy seems to enjoy other friendly dogs. He may look like a tough guy, but he's really just a sweetheart.
