Buttercup came to Safe Haven from a family that is friends with one of our volunteers. The family had Buttercup for the past 4 years and they are just not home enough to give Buttercup the love and attention that she deserves. Buttercup is a typical Bassett Hound and loves everyone she meets! She las lived with other dogs and cats and kids, and did fine. Her favorite things to do are have her belly rubbed and nap on the couch....but she does enjoy a good walk a couple times a day too. Buttercup would make a great companion for some lucky family, so please consider adding her to your family!
