Meet Little Pixie. Isn't she cute?! Pixie came to us from a situation where her owner was in poor health and had several dogs that she could no longer care for. There were cairn terriers, min pins, and doxies on the property. Pixie appears to be a cairn/doxie mix, and she is even more adorable in person! Pixie was so scared initially when she came into the shelter but now she is an absolute little love bug and will give you all the kisses you could ever want! She started out being very shy but has developed to the point where she accepts new people well. Pixie enjoys other dogs once she gets to know them and doesn't seem to have aggression towards cats in the few times we've witnessed her meeting them. Pixe is not completely housetrained, probably because of the long hours between our evening shift care givers and the morning shift, but with a little work and a regular schedule of potty breaks and positive rewards, we think she'll "get it" - she's very eager to please.
