Description:
ButterCup came to Safe Haven with several other Cavalier King Charles Spaniels from a breeder that is retiring. They contacted Safe Haven and asked for help trying to find good homes for their registered Cavaliers, as they were no longer able to provide the amount of care the dogs require. ButterCup is a 5 year old female that is a fairly active little lady. She loves to be around all people and going on nice long walks. She also would love a nice warm lap to curl up on and call her own! ButterCup does tend to have problems getting along with several other dogs and we really feel she would be happiest as the only dog in her new home. She has been a real pleasure getting to know and just makes all the volunteers smile! Please note, ButterCup has not lived in a home but rather in a kennel facility in a large pen where she always had outdoor access. In this set-up she does do her business outside, which may lend to her being easily potty trained within a home.
