Susie came to Safe Haven with 4 other Shih Tzu's from a breeder that is retiring. They contacted Safe Haven and asked for help trying to find good homes for their 5 registered Shih Tzu's, as they were no longer able to provide the amount of care the dogs require. Susie was groomed this weekend, and finally looks like the cute little dog we knew she could be! She loved her time at the groomer and is really just a little cuddlebug! After her grooming she is now settling into her new foster home. She will also be spayed on 2/29/12 and will be ready to go to her new forever home afterwards! If you are looking for a wonderful small dog that has so much to offer, then Susie may be the perfect dog for you! Please note, Susie is not housetrained, as she has not been living in a house but rather in a kennel facility in a large pen where she always had outdoor access. In this set-up she does do her business outside. Please do not apply for Susie if you do not feel you have the time, patience, or ability to housetrain a dog.
