Originally found as a local stray and brought into our care via the Iowa County Pound, Meatball is now looking for a fresh start with a family that can truly commit to his bright future. While his previous owner was no longer able to care for him, he sure hasn't let his past dampen his spirits; he remains a social, waggy-tailed fella who genuinely has loved every person he meets. He is the definition of a "people dog," always eager for attention and ready to lean in for a good scratch behind the ears.

Meatball is not just a fan of humans—he originally entered our care alongside his canine companion, Pearl, and has consistently shown a friendly, easygoing nature toward other fellow four-legged residents. Because of his social history, he could be a fantastic match for a home with existing dogs, provided they can keep up with his youthful energy.
