Safe Haven of Iowa County

Earlene is a gorgeous kitten with both orange and grey tabby markings.  She was found as a stray in North English when she was just a tiny kitten, weighing less than 2 pounds. A caring lady caught Earlene (and her possible sibling Norbert) when she found them living outside near an abandoned house.  It took Earlene a few weeks to trust her foster mom, and want to cuddle, but she now seeks attention and offers up a lovely little purr.  We think she may do best in a more quiet home, or a home without busy little kids because she still does startle easy at quick movements or loud noises - but she is just growing into a lovely little kitty that is looking for the forever home she deserves!
