Meet Ginger! She came to us recently via the Iowa County Pound, she was never claimed so she has been vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and officially cleared for adoption! Upon her arrival, she was very dehydrated, cold, scared, and just wasn't sure about affection. She had a bacterial skin infection upon her arrival, her 20 days of oral medication for treatment is almost completed. She has blossomed over the past few weeks into a very outgoing little gal - and oh how cute she is! Our veterinarian estimates her to be about a year old, although she has manners and puppy-like behaviors. Many Safe Haven staff and volunteers are interested to know what breed(s) she really is.... some of us think maybe French Bulldog Mix? Boston Terrier Mix? Pittie Mix?? No matter what breed(s) she is.. she is sure a cutie! She will need guidance with house training, leash training, obedience skills, and all other basic "puppy" manners that come with adding a furry family member to a new home.
