Take a look at this cutie - his name is Eddie!
Eddie came to Safe Haven with his brother Benny and mother Blue 20-20. The two young boys and their mother were raised in a home setting of a retired breeder - unfortunately due to some health issues of the previous owner, none of these cuties were well socialized. Upon arrival, they were very nervous and spent most of their first couple days hiding and running from the sight and sounds of their new surroundings. After a few days, with patience and consistency they have come around and began to come out of their shells. They have been under our care at the shelter for a couple weeks now and have already come along ways! They have been going outside on walks (with a harness) and have become curious with the outdoors. Eddie appears to be the more social and brave one of the two brother - and is always interested in what his mama next door is up to! They will require lots of patience and extra love in order for them to continue to grow and learn - housetraining, playing, snuggling, leash walking, obedience, etc. are all skills that these little ones will need patience with as these are all new things!
