Timber is a gorgeous, healthy 8 year old German Shepherd who would love to meet you!

This pretty girl is active and loves to be on the go. She enjoys being with her people but isn't an overly-affectionate gal, at least she hasn't been yet here. She's content to be in your company, go on long walks, and play out in the yard. Timber is pretty nervous and excitable in the stressful shelter environment, which we hope will subside once settled in her forever home.

Timber was mainly an outside dog her whole life previously, and she is so looking forward to the indoor life now! Despite her past, she has good manners indoors and seems to be house-trained. She hasn't had much exposure to dogs and is a bit reactive towards them here--but again, due to the stressful environment, it's hard to gauge her dog compatibility. With a slow, proper intro, she may do okay with a calm dog companion. She is not cat-friendly.

Timber has an appointment to be spayed on the 23rd, so she will be available to go home following a few days of recovery.

If you lead an active lifestyle and have a lot of love to give to a faithful companion, apply to meet Timber today!
