Charlie was surrendered with his sister Evie because they were killing the family chickens. Charlie has a high prey drive. He is very friendly and LOVES people. Due to his size and lack of leash training, he is a puller--we've been working with him in a gentle leader. He needs to lose a few pounds, so take this boy on a hike before lounging on the couch at bedtime! 


Charlie's original family loved these dogs so much, and just feel like Charlie and Evie may do best finding 2 separate homes because they don't seem to be bonded and both seek a lot of love and attention - so we will be looking for 2 different homes for Charlie and Evie.Their family also thought they would be most comfortable in a home without little kiddos, as infants and toddlers seem to make them uncomfortable.  They have spent the majority of their lives on tie outs and in large indoor kennels, so they may need some patience while they adjust to indoor living roaming loose. However they are smart, gorgeous, and eager to please--what's not to love? Contact us to come meet Charlie!
