Safe Haven of Iowa County

Wyatt came to Safe Haven with 3 other dogs (all are a Lab/Husky/German Shepherd mix)  from a family going through a divorce and needing to find a safe place for their 4 dogs.  Wyatt is almost 2 years old, and loves everyone he meets.  He is used to living among several other dogs, however his owner did say he chases cats and would likely do best not living in a home with cats. 

Wyatt has mastered the "sit" command, however he will benefit greatly from an active family adopting him that will commit to taking an obedience class to build a great bond with Wyatt while helping him learn and grow into the great dog we know he can be.  Wyatt is a tall, athletic dog that will make a great jogging partner.  He has been keeping his kennel clean while at Safe Haven and his previous owner said he enjoyes spending time inside and outside, and was kenneled during the day.
