Safe Haven of Iowa County

Crimson is estimated to be around 1 year old, and an interesting mix of Pointer and Lab perhaps - but of course that is just an educated guess!  He just arrived at Safe Haven on Friday, August 2nd - so we are just getting to know him.  He arrived in a large transport vehicle from Houston, Texas because he was in a shelter that was over-crowded shelter where his time was up.  Since Safe Haven had an empty kennel for him, we figured why not rescue this gorgeous dog?! 

Crimson's brown spots have a little brindle coloring in them - and check out those ears!  He also knows how to "sit" already, so we believe he has had someone in his life that loved him and helped him become the nice dog he is today! The shelter he was at originally told us he gets along with other dogs, so once we get him settled in, we will try and find him a few canine friends!
