Safe Haven of Iowa County

 Jimmy Mack is estimated to be around 3 to 4 months old - and there simply could not be a cuter puppy!  He found his way into an overcrowded shelter in Texas, where there was no room for him to stay - so several volunteer pilots decided to join together and fly Jimmy Mack and a few of his new friends on a network of flights to finally arrive in Iowa!  These dogs are now totally vetted and placed up for adoption - waiting for their forever family to find them.  Jimmy Mack seems to have a very sweet and laid back personality - loves to play like any other puppy, but also loves to cuddle.

Jimmy Mack's forever home will need to be a home that can focus on all the work that a puppy requires - houretraining is easiest to do when a puppy will not be left alone for long stretches of time - it is imperative to get a schedule for frequent trips outdoors.  A general puppy obedience class will also be a great first step towards creating a bond and getting off on the right foot towards having a well behaved puppy that matures into a wonderful family pet!
