Description:
Dutch is a big boy at 69 pounds who likes to run and get lots of exercise. He is strong and healthy now, although he first came to us with heartworm. He did just fine going through that treatment which is not always easy or without risk. He likes sturdy chewable toys and marrow bones. Balls are a lot of fun, too. Left on his own with nothing to play with he will dig looking for something. He has a great fun and lovable personality. Although he likes both men and women he may prefer women since he has been around them more in the recent past. He is too big and excitable for little children, other than the most hardy and 'durable' ones, but might be perfect for a strong teenager. He is housebroken to a degree. He does not go to the door and ring a bell or signal you in any way that it is time to go out.....but, if you are willing to accept training and establish a schedule, he will accept that as his routine.
