These three black and tan coonhounds came to us a strays from the northwest side of Iowa County where they seemed to have wandered.  Did I mention they are pretty friendly as noted by the blur of the tails as they wag and the six front feet all over their visitor.  We held them for a couple weeks waiting for their owner to claim them, but that owner has not shown up.   They have been neutered or spayed  and all their flea, worm preventatives and  vaccines  have been administered.  They were tested for heartworm disease and found to be negative.   They are healthy and robust and looking for someone to take them home to hunt or just to be their buddy and let them be a member of the family.

I would like to tell you that I know which one is Ed in the picture posted here, but I do not.  This picture was taken one of their first days with us.   It may not be as specific with regard to each dog as is desirable; but the enthusiasm and friendliness is so evident that it is a case of a picture being  worth a thousand words.
