Safe Haven of Iowa County

What a run for our money this cute little fellow gave us.   He was outside our building crying one day but he would also try to avoid anyone who was attempting  to catch him.  He just was not old enough to be out there alone and the cry was so pathetic that we could not just assume that he had wandered from the neighbors.  If we did not catch him some predator certainly would.  This hide-and-seek-and-cry game went on for a couple of days.   The joke was becoming "how many cat care people does it take to catch a kitten" until one nimble young lady caught him out in the adjacent bean field.  Now you would never guess he was trying to avoid being picked up because he loves being loved and petted.

Like all of our available cats and dogs he is neutered, up to date on shots and flea and worm preventative, microchipped and more than willing to go to a new home with a family of his own.
