Cubby could not be any cuter and is quite the charmer too! Unfortunately Cubby has found himself needing a new home because his owner had 5 dogs and the city where she lives has a 3 dog limit. She has had Cubby since he was a puppy, so of course it was very difficult for her to say goodbye, but she entrusted Safe Haven to find him a new forever home!
Cubby is good with other dogs and cats, and was okay around kids at his home. He is still working at a little submissive peeing issue...he tends to dribble a few spots when he gets excited, etc. We are really hoping his neuter surgery and a little training and a good routine will help lessen this. His original owner said that he is 5 years old, so don't let that white on his face fool you - she says he has always had the white on his face, just like his mother (a Pomeranian) did. However, when Cubby went to the vet for his neuter surgery, they said he had some pretty bad teeth and had to pull several. The condition of those teeth did make the vet wonder if Cubby isn't closer to 8 years old - so it is possible that Cubby may be older than 5 - but that doesn't change how we feel about this super cute pup!
