Buddy is a 6 year old basset/shepard mix--whatever one wants to call this low rider he truly wants to be by your side all the time. Buddy is an 'owner give up' as the family was split up and couldn't go to the apartment with them! It's sad when that happens, isn't it? But he'd be just right for a loving family! When we first got him he saw the leash on the table and brought it to us to take our walk now! He's mellow, wants to be by your side all the time, is well mannered in every way, does tricks (had a teenage girl who loved him & she called to hear about him & tell me all about his tricks & his obedience as she misses him. He's a great companion in every sense of the word. He plunks down where the family is going to be. He has also been known to bring over his bowl and put it by my feet as if to say "Aren't you going to feed me now?" Rarely barks but will whimper if he wants to be by your side.
