Eddie is a very handsome Rat Terrier, and true to his breed he is both lively and affectionate. The Rat Terrier combines both terrier and hound-like qualities, with a strong hunting urge but also an agreeable temperament. Rat Terriers make excellent farm dogs, watchdogs, and companions. Eddie is playful and energetic, and has a very sweet disposition. He was very shy around men when he arrived at Safe Haven, but we are working on socializing him and helping him to get over this shyness. He does great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Eddie was found on 335th Street near North English on May 16. He was neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for heartworms on June 3, and is all ready for a new permanent home.
