Indy is a red Doberman, female, spayed, about 4 years old.  Her ears are natural, not cropped, tail is docked.  She is current with all of her vaccinations, dewormed, and up to date on heart guard and frontline plus.
Indy has been fostered by me since September of 2009, when I got a frantic call from a vet office in CR.  She had been dropped of to be boarded, and was never picked back up.  How awful!  She was going to be put to sleep the very next morning, and so, needless to say, I went to pick her up to foster her until I was able to find her a forever home.
About Indy:
Indy has needed some work on socialization, she has had abuse in her past, and we have come a very long way.  She is very loving and sweet, but also VERY protective, she is a Doberman, through and through.  She does not trust children, at all, and can be aggressive towards strangers. (also....being a Doberman)
Indy loves to walk on her gentle leader, loves to run in a fenced in back yard.  Is the biggest wimp with cold weather, or rain, and needs to have a jacket, or sweater.  Loves to be a couch potato and sleep in bed with me.
She had some dog aggression when I brought her home, but has been around lots of dogs, and we have a lab, that she loves dearly now.  She is good with cats too, but loves to chase when they run, if they ignore her, then she just wants to lick them, like she's cleaning them...
When I take her anywhere, she "shows" off, like a princess, and is very well behaved.
She is ready to find her forever home, I finally feel that she is ready to move forward and find her home.  I am very happy to see where she is now, from the day I brought her home to give her a chance at finding happiness:)  She will make someone a perfect companion.

My email  is Teronski74@aol.com.  Please fill out the application online, and contact me to meet her.  Thank you.
