Description:
We bought Bugzy in Jan 2008. He is almost 2 (Nov. 10th is his birthday) and he is Maltipoo. All his shots are updated and he is fixed, too. (He has a chip in him to identify - but we never register him.) He is potty trained as long as you use Kennel when you are gone. (We have never trusted him because he is a chewer so we never let him out of the kennel if we have to go some place and there is one spot he loves to go potty in our house and if the gate to upstairs is open, he will sneak to go potty if necessary, but otherwise, he usually whines in front of the main door to let us know he has to go out.) He is a chewer. He seems to love any plastic toys and tissue paper (kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels). He never got into furniture. He also loves to hang around Kitchen and look for any foods dropped on the floor or any wrappers of candies my kids usually leave behind. This is why I never ever left him free at home. He loves to play with toys, fetching toys - has hard time to let go of the toys unless we use treats. He becomes a true smart listener when we use treats. He has gone to puppy class in March of 2009, he has been to dog day care when he was younger for half day at least once a day just to have exposure to other dogs, so he plays with other dogs as well. He knows to sit, down, stay, gentle, and shake - if you have the treats! Otherwise, he loves to chill besides you or on top of you.
Unfortunately, Bugzy bit a neighbor kid, who was minding his own business. Because of this, we feel we need to find him another home. We have many kids in our neighborhood, and can not take the chance of this happening again.
