Haley is a young dog that was dumped in the country and left to fend for herself. Lucky for her Safe Haven took her in and gave her a safe place to live until that perfect family comes along! Haley is a great dog, young and full of life. She lives up to the Border Collie characteristics, so she is very smart and learns fast but will really do best with an active family. In her short time with us she has learned to sit, does well with the "stay" command, and loves to have her belly rubbed. Haley loves treats and is extremely smart, so training with her is just a matter of putting the time in. She enjoys everyone she meets and is most happy if she is on a long walk or jog. She is working on a few more leash manners, but is already getting much better. She loves her Safe Haven foster brother Ford and they love to play together off leash on our acreage. She loves to run through the fields with him and comes running back immediately when called. She just loves attention so if she thinks there is a belly rub possible she will come a running!
