Quaker came to us as his previous family knew he deserved a home where he could flourish and become a more comfortable version of himself. His prevoius family let us know that he is not comfortable, and can be leary around men. He is not an overly confident boy and takes time to warm up to new faces and environments, and is quite sensitive to these changes. Patience is important for this boy so he can build your trust. Loud noises and sudden movements can be frightening to him - so a mellow home setting would be great! He is used to living with young kids and absolutely loves children. He also lived in a home with a cat and did well, and has done well around other dogs. Quaker was in need of a grooming upon his arrival into our care - isn't he just a handsome boy?! He did great for the groomer and must feel like a whole new pup!

We look forward to helping Quaker find his new forever home, one where he can continue to flourish into the best boy that he is! He has already made great strides towards builiding some confidence with our staff & volunteers in the short amount of time that we have known him. Quaker has been neutered, microchipped, brought up-to-date on his vaccinations, and started on monthly flea/tick & Heartworm preventatives. We know he won't be with us long!
