Safe Haven of Iowa County

Before Sammy came to us, he was a stray living in a trailer court. Some of the other community cats in the area were picking on Sammy. A Safe Haven volunteer lived nearby and noticed he had an infected eye. The volunteer took Sammy to the vet to get his eye taken care of. Sammy then decided he would camp out on her porch. The volunteer tried to bring Sammy into her home, but the resident cats didn't want another sibling. Sammy lived on her porch until he could be brought into Safe Haven, and he has become a fast favorite. He made quick friends with a feline roommate and greets everyone who comes to visit him. He is warm and snuggly as well as fun and playful.
