Safe Haven of Iowa County

Zendaya came into Safe Haven with her sister with an upper respiratory infection and not quite sure what to expect from humans. She was placed in foster care and although she didn’t like her medicine, she quickly decided that she definitely liked people. “Zen” loves belly rubs, ear scritches, shoulder surfing, and being carried around. She will snuggle into your arms and never wants to be let go. However, exploring is fun, too! She jumps and runs and chases anything that moves… as well as some things that do not. She is a big fan of shadows, although hasn’t quite figured out she will never catch them. She loves playtime with people – but also spends lots of time ruling the world with her sister. They play tag and keep away until they are exhausted and then snuggle in together for naptime. Her URI went away quickly, and this healthy baby is ready to find her forever home where she can experience all the love.
