Safe Haven of Iowa County

Chester is a very special kitty that came in with his sister Midge.  They were born this Spring into a very loving home with a well intentioned lady that took in several stray kitties last year.  However as the adults began reproducing, she quickly realized she needed to reach out for help as she suddenly found herself caring for nearly 30 cats in her home.  Safe Haven initially began helping her by starting to get the adults spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and Chester and Midge were the first two kittens to come into Safe Haven and be placed up for adoption.  

Chester is a very friendly kitten, and actually comes running when you talk to him.  He is a typical "teen-ager" full of curiousity and playfulness, and especially enjoys playing in water - so his dream home will have one of the fancy cat wat fountain drinking bowls!  We also don't think Chester has ever met a stranger, as he is so gregarious, and is also not chincy with his fantastic purr, which his foster mom reports as theraputic!  Chester has now been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, dewormed, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative and had his nails trimmed.  He is ready to find his fur-ever home,
