Sable the wonder puppy is a special little girl. Found in the soaking rain covered in welts from a skin infection she came running for safety. Upon intake there was something vry wrong about her walk. Her feet were turned 90 degrees outwards and were very flat, Vet thinks it is a birth defect. In addition Xrays revealed her hip ball and socket was fine but the "kneck" of the bone that connects to the ball are thin and shapped oddly. She sits a little funny and can't come to a full run and has some issues with going up stairs BUT...She is a lovable, cat friendly, dog friendly, people friendly little girl who loves her kennel, loves to eat, loves to sleep in bed at night. And her stregth is increasing every single day. Her feet will always point outwards but we think she will not need surgery down the road. She will tell you if someone is outside that shouldn't be! New noises she will alert you too. She loves life and the people and animals in it. She is a young puppy so obedience work is essential as well as socializing her to many new things...
