Meet Oakley! This cute little fella was recently surrendered to Safe Haven with his canine brother Jax. These two were surrendered due to their owners needing to continue care for their young grandkids. After trying to coexist under the same roof, their owners knew both of these sweet boys deserved home(s) where they could continue living their best lives without worry of not receiving the attention they deserved. Oakley has never bit the young children, but his owner's mentioned he has been known to 'nip' when he gets excited. His future forever home should be aware of the Schnauzer breed in knowing that they can be high energy & active companions. Oakley is a very smart boy who just graduated from obediance training this past Spring. He knows lots of basic commands & is a well mannered young man. Oakley is all up-to-date on his vet work & vaccinations - which means he is ready to begin his search for his new forever home!
