Meet Java! This little gal came to us as a stray, found along Interstate 80 on exit 211 near Marengo/Ladora. After never being reclaimed, we are sure she was unfortunatley dumped in this area :( She is the sweetest thing - and oh SO adorable! Java has been examined by a veterinarian, been microchipped, brought up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, and had her spay surgery. She is available to go to her new home within the next week, once she receives her next puppy booster vaccine. 

Her ideal family will be committed to taking a puppy obedience class right away to get started on the right foot - she will need a family that can commit to continue proper socialization and also all the work that goes into house-training a puppy, which requires a lot of patience and persistence with working on a schedule. Puppies need to be taken outside frequently - as often as every 4 hours in the beginning. So an ideal home for her will be one where she won't have long periods of time during the day spent alone, so she can have the best chance of successful housetraining and have years of wonderful love and devotion to focus on!
