Meet Reese! She came to us as a local stray and was never reclaimed - we just can't figure out why she wasn't claimed, she is a real sweetheart! Reese has very unique coloring - dark chocolate? sable? Whatever the official coloring, it is beautiful in the light! She has been examined by our veterinarian, spayed, brought up-to-date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and is cleared for adoption! As we have gotten to know Reese more, we have come to realize she does best with dogs of alike playstyle. Reese has lots of energy to burn - so another active companion may be a great lifestyle for her. Once a slow introduction period with George (active Husky mix) took place, Reese & George have become the bestest of friends and enjoy one another's company. Reese is estimated to be about a year old, so her future adopter(s) will need to utilize any socialization, obedience, house training, leash training, etc. skills/trainings that would be appropriate for a young dog/puppy. A Safe Haven volunteer very graciously took Reese to several in-person Obedience trainings to help with leash training and socialization skills. This is a great start to her bright future!
