Safe Haven of Iowa County

Buster first came to our attention last fall when a community member asked us for help in facilitating his getting neutered.   At the time we took him to Iowa Humane Alliance for neutering we spotted him as a very friendly and highly adoptable kitty because of  his personality and young age, not to mention how beautiful he was/is.   The individual who contacted us did not consider him 'her' cat at the time, but instead a community cat that made the rounds outside and definitely deserved better than living outside.   When she turned him over to us she told us he had actually lived in her house recently so she was sure she would know where he was at the time we could take him.  She also confessed that of all the kitties she had befriended, this is the fellow who is tugging at her heartstrings most about giving him up.

Buster is looking a little unsure of his circumstances in this picture but the fellow is really very loving and friendly after having adjusted to new surroundings/people.
