Jimbo came to us a very skittish adult who had known only one person his entire life. Adjustment has been difficult for him although he is now friendly and even loving with people he sees often. We have learned through an attempted adoption and his first couple of days at our building that he is extremely sensitive to change. He has even seriously scratched and bitten during those first few days in a new situation before eventually settling down here at our building.
