Safe Haven of Iowa County

Sassy can be a very loving kitty but she has shown her 'sassy' side when we first met her and she was very frightened.  Now that she is not facing so many 'new' experiences and knows we are here to care for her, she is a curious kitty ready to interact with you.

Sassy is more the 'fun' kitty personality wise with an energetic and playful attitude.   She is not yet ready to be a 'lay-in-your-lap- and snooze cat', but she does enjoy being petted.   This morning (3/31) she and a dog met for the first time here at the building.  We were so pleasantly surprised when BOTH the dog and Sassy seemed to be very receptive to a friendship and were standing nose to nose.
