Safe Haven of Iowa County

Poku and sister Hindi were young strays found by a student who wanted to help them. She did so by calling them to our attention and then fostering them long enough for their first vaccinations to become effective. They are now vaccinated, microchipped, and Hindi is spayed and Poku is neutered.   Poku has moved on to his new home and is working out well.

Hindi has become so much more social --as is demonstrated by his sitting on the outstretched leg of a visitor in his picture.    He will seek out attention and look for some loving now.
