Description:
Athena and her big baby Bruiser, who now outweighs her, came to us from Albany Missouri when their owner could no longer care for them or their home. He must have been very caring and had a good relationship with the dogs because they absolutely love people. Athena is guessed to be a Boxer mix - she even has a docked tail....but we definitely have no idea what she is mixed with - we just know she is adorable! Athena has now been fully vaccinated, Heartworm tested (negative!), received flea/tick and heartworm preventative, and microchipped. She will be spayed on Wednesday, May 27th, and be ready for her new home by May 29th. Athena is an incredibly sweet dog, very loving and mellow. She loves every single volunteer she has met and after her nice long walks, she loves to chill out on her bed in her kennel. Her sweet demeanor is a sure "fast pass" for Athena to not be with us long - we anticipate her quick adoption!
