Bruiser and his mother came to us from Albany Missouri when his human 'dad' could no longer care for them and their residence. He must have been a loving pet parent because both Bruiser and his mother, Athena, certainly love people. But, now it is time for them to start new chapters in their lives and shower their new families with all their enthusiasm and love for people. Bruiser is big boy, and while we are not certain what his breed mix is - he is a tall, lanky, athletic fella, with a long tail that never stops wagging! He seems to love everyone he meets, and has energy to burn. While Bruiser would probably love a family with kids, his enthusiam, energy level and large size (did we mention his large wagging tail?!) would probably be a bit too much for a family with toddlers. Bruiser is working on learning new manners and general dog obedience, so he can grow into the canine companion we know he can be! If you are looking for a great jogging companion, Bruiser is your man! He would also benefit from a family that is willing to take an obedience class together with him. He is very food motivated, and a quick learner - so he would thrive in a class that would help him build his confidence, gains new skills, and develop a great bond with his new family!
