Buffy came to us as a pound dog ---and such a sweet girl she is.   

We discovered she seemed to strain to urinate more often than would be expected.   Through palpation our vet discovered numerous bladder stones that were undoubtedly the cause.   Fortunately, the removal of the stones through surgery followed by a special diet takes care of the problem in the vast majority of cases of this kind.   Buffy was an ideal patient through the entire process of readying her for the surgery on 3/28/19.    After a few days of recuperation, removal of the sutures, and a lot of love and attention from those of us here at the shelter and we will have to say good bye to her so she can go home with  the lucky family that applies and is approved to adopt her.
