Description:
Monique and her three sisters and one brother came to us from Texas where there are still many homeless pets after the hurricane. She and her siblings were born to mom, Olympia, in late November before coming to Iowa. The whole family (except the father) was flown to Iowa by the volunteer group, Paws 'n Pilots, on February 25. It has been great fun watching them play and grow while we waited for their veterinary appointment to spay or neuter them and to bring them up-to-date on shots. As is our normal practice while they were having their operations we had each of them receive their own microchip identification. They are now ready for adoption. (In fact two of them have approved adopters already.) As you would expect of puppies this age they love to play and wrestle with each other. Now it is time for them to start bonding with their new families. They have learned the things puppies need to learn about other puppies from their litter mates. |
