Safe Haven of Iowa County

Sky came to us as an owner relinquishment. The family felt they didn't have enough time or room for Sky with several toddlers, cats, rabbits and another dog.  She is a very timid girl and takes a little time to warm up.  While she has trust issues before knowing individuals she loves people and wants that contact.   She is good with kids at any age, dogs, cats, and rabbits. With the right person helping this sweet girl warm up to she would make a wonderful addition to a family!   She is young and not at all trying to be 'alpha'.....just the qualities needed to grow with a young family.  

Sky has an interesting arch to her back that makes us think of a greyhound.   Her very gentle nature would be in keeping with a greyhound personality as well.   However, we are uncertain of her breed background.
