Hawkeye and his mother Heidi came into us just recently because his owner passed away. Hawkeye has lived the first 3 years of his life outside in a horse barn. So, Hawkeye would do best to live somewhere with plenty of space to run. and will need work and patience with housebreaking if his next family wants him to be an inside dog.   He also does tend to be protective of his food and toys, etc. - so caution needs to be used when feeding and handling anything he deems important, therefore he may do best in a home without little kids that could potentially have trouble remembering this.   Hawkeye and his mother have had loving care in the past and show it with their friendliness and desire to be loved, and we know they each deserve a seconde chance with a new forever home.
