Cora is a super friendly dog that loves everyone she meets and hasn't met a snack she doesn't like either!  When she came into Safe Haven she was pregnant and after safely having her 4 puppies, she was a great mom.  The puppies have now been adopted to 4 great families, so we can focus on finding that perfect home for Cora. While raising her pups Cora was able to go to a foster home where she loved to go on walks and even tractor rides!  Cora seems to really love men!!  She did get along with a few new dogs that we have introduced her to, but she isn't too sure about a few other dogs she meets.  She will chase a cat that runs from her, so we would not recommend for her to go to a family with kitties.

Cora is very playful and loves her toys. One of her favorite pastimes is to chew up any stuffed toy that we give her...she is determined to get out that squeeky disc from inside the stuffed dog toys!  Cora was adopted to a family that liked to go Coon Hunting, and Cora loved it....but unfortunately over the last year Cora decided she did not want to recall, or come back, when out hunting.   She also has been known to roam away from home as well -  So the family felt they could no longer give her the home she needs to stay safe and happy.  So Cora may not be the perfect hunting dog, and she really could not be outside on a farm without a fenced in yard - but she sure loves the outdoors.  If you are looking for a fun dog with so much to offer, please come meet Cora!
